We need a short-form editor who understands why a clip works, not just someone who can cut one. Our content is OmeTV-style. The only thing that matters is whether the video holds attention.
What you'll do
Edit vertical short-form videos built for retention
Turn long footage into shorts that stand on their own
Find the moments that land: emotion, reactions, punchlines, the awkward and viral beats
Light color correction and clean audio
Keep your files organized and clearly named
Read the story, then cut it
Every video has a story inside it. Your job is to find it and cut it so it lands. That might be 10 seconds, 20, 50, or longer. The footage decides the length, not a template. If you can't feel where a moment starts, builds, and pays off, this isn't the job for you.
The editing itself isn't hard. The judgment is, and that's what we're hiring for.
If you don't understand how these clips work or how to find the story in the footage, please don't apply for the job.
What we're looking for:
Experience editing for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts
Consistent output once the workflow is set
A strong sense of timing, rhythm, and pacing
Able to take direction and still think for yourself
This role fits you if you
Want long-term, consistent work
Can hold your quality under volume
Care about whether the video performs, not just how it looks
Full-time: 8 hours/day, 6 days/week (1 day off, your choice)
